| — | Well, actually there is something wrong with that, at least in my worldview. I want to like Jacques Greene’s music but it’s surrounded by such an aura of absolute douche that I find myself ignoring his releases. He’s a talented kid but his public persona, label name (Vase? really?) and general aesthetic makes me want to rob and pistol whip him in the teeth. That may not be a nice thing to say but I figure he’s gained a lot of fans because of this image so he’s got to take the good with the bad. I’ll stick to artists named Coki and labels called DMZ. |
